1. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information through our payment processor.
Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, session duration, device type, browser type, IP address, and referring URLs.
Analysis Inputs. When you use Kaldon's research, branding, content, or other AI-powered features, we collect the inputs you provide such as product ideas, keywords, brand preferences, and other data you submit for analysis. This information is necessary to deliver our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
Platform Operation. We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Kaldon platform, including account management, customer support, and feature delivery.
AI Processing. Your analysis inputs are sent to AI providers to generate research results, brand assets, content, and other outputs. See Section 3 for detailed information about AI data handling.
Analytics and Improvement. We use aggregated and anonymized usage data to understand how the platform is used, identify areas for improvement, and develop new features.
Communications. We may use your email address to send transactional messages related to your account, as well as product updates and announcements. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
3. AI Data Handling
Kaldon uses multiple third-party AI providers to power its analysis and content generation features. When you submit data for processing, your inputs may be sent to one or more of the following providers:
- • Anthropic (Claude)
- • xAI (Grok)
- • Perplexity
- • OpenAI (GPT)
- • Google (Gemini)
- • Freepik (image generation)
Important:
Your data is sent to these providers solely for the purpose of processing your requests and generating outputs. Your data is not used to train the AI models of any of these providers. We use API-level access with each provider under terms that prohibit the use of customer data for model training.
We select which provider to use based on the specific task being performed. You do not need to have a separate account with any of these providers to use Kaldon.
4. Data Storage and Security
We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it.
Hosting. The Kaldon platform is hosted on Railway, a cloud infrastructure provider with robust security practices.
Content Delivery. We use Cloudflare CDN to deliver content quickly and securely, with DDoS protection and SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
File Storage. User-generated files and assets are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage.
Encryption. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use TLS 1.2 or higher for all communications between your browser and our servers.
While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we continuously review and update our security practices to protect your information.
5. Third-Party Services
In addition to AI providers listed in Section 3, we use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
Stripe. Payment processing. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
Resend. Transactional email delivery. We use Resend to send account-related emails such as verification emails, password resets, and subscription confirmations.

Each of these services has their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
